Quilts-n-More is the
brainchild of the owner Nancy Hendley (now Nancy
Pracht) who is truly doing what she loves to do. She
opened the shop November 2002 with a vision of the
perfect quilt shop. Quilts-n-More is always changing and
moving with the changes in the industry, so the perfect
shop is never the same! She married Steven Pracht
December 17, 2005 and now he also works at the shop
running the long arm machine and working on web pages.
Nancy is an avid seamstress and quilt maker who has been
in the business for more than 14 years! She told me she
started sewing at 4 years of age, but I can’t reveal her
age.
Quilts-n-More is centrally located in downtown Slaton
Texas next to the Slaton Bakery. This location is very
fortuitous, as the bakery is a great place to keep
husbands, boyfriends, or anyone trying to rush you out
of the way so you may shop at your leisure.
Quilts-n-More stocks and sells an extensive selection of
the finest quality- 100% cotton fabrics. We know how
valuable your time is and how much time you have spent
working on your quilting project and that is why we sell
only first quality fabrics to ensure your precious time
and effort will last a lifetime and beyond.
108” quilt backs, in stock, yes! Batting, thread? You
bet. We also stock a large selection of notions and
supplies such as rotary cutters, scissors, pins and
needles. Need ideas? We have hundreds of patterns, and
thousands, (yes thousands) of books, and friendly,
knowledgeable staff to help all along your way.
